Emilie began her sporting career as a professional show-jumper, which she decided to end after an accident in China that changed the direction of her life (watch Emilie’s Keynote).

She later turned her passion for competing and love of sport in the direction of surfing. This led to her competing in the European and World Championships where she was able to proudly represent her country and home nation, Denmark.

Emilie started her sports reporting with the WSL ‘Big Wave’ events in Portugal, later being invited to cover the Championship Tour on behalf of Corona in 2022 in El Salvador and South Africa.

Her passion and love of sports, in general, have led her into the space of reportage and covering big sporting events on behalf of different brands and broadcasting platforms.

Having built a strong relationship with the WSL, Red Bull and Corona, Emilie has covered a variety of events and experiences, including “The United Nations Ocean Conference” and a number of different Film Festivals in Europe.

With a base in the middle of Europe, Emilie is available to cover both surf and other sporting/non-sporting events, on social media, broadcasting, articles or as a commentator, moderator or host.
