In this talk, Emilie Uttrup shares a first-hand account of how learning to surf not only healed her but changed her life and her dreams. Emilie woke up in a hospital bed one day as one of two survivors in a fatal car accident in China. She made two promises to herself that day: to never be afraid of traveling and to learn how to surf.
